TrueAuto device robustness begins with designing SMSC's reliability techniques within the silicon IC itself. The IC is fully-characterized over many operating parameters to ensure quality under a variety of conditions. SMSC's TrueAuto approach meets or exceeds automotive reliability standards as well as customer-specific requirements and goes far beyond the stress tests prescribed by the AEC-Q100 specifications.
