MediaLB is a fully digital, serial chip-to-chip interface developed by SMSC that can seamlessly be implemented on any SOC and grants access to SMSC’s INICs of all MOST® speed grades and physical layers. MediaLB can transport all kinds of data signals that occur in multimedia systems. SMSC offers licenses to both, the MediaLB Protocol IP and to its MediaLB Design IP.

Licensing MediaLB is independent of market size. A MOST Cooperation membership is not required.
