The MOST NetServices API V2 has been designed for SMSC's Intelligent Network Interface Controllers - the INIC. All INIC circuits implement time-critical, resource-intensive and fail-safe relevant parts of the network driver on-chip. MOST NetServices API V2 together with the INICs provide a software interface to the MOST network low level system services. MOST NetServices provides access to all data transportation mechanisms on a MOST network, while at the same time ensuring compatibility with the MOST Specification.
