The VideoCompressor 4 MOST is a MOST device offering analog video and audio sources a real-time interface to the MOST network.
Analog video signals can be fed into the device in two common formats:
- Combined composite video
- Separated S-Video (Y/C).
The selected analog signal is digitized to CCIR-601 format and compressed using an MPEG algorithm. In addition, an analog stereo audio signal is digitized by an onboard ADC and then also passed to the MPEG encoder for compression.
