Files

Flash Files

Flash files define the communication protocol between the PC and the hardware during an upload. They are part of the respective hardware (see Requirements). They do not contain any information about the program that will be uploaded to the target hardware. Therefore, memory files must be provided when using the flash files.

Memory Files

The OSS Flasher software requires memory updates to be in one of the following formats:

• ABS files
• Intel Hex
• Motorola S Record
• IPF files (INIC firmware)
