Description

With the INIC Remote Viewer properties and states of FBlock NetBlock and FBlock INIC can be read out. States and state changes can be visualized at a particular time. Reading the configuration string rounds up the feature set of the INIC Remote Viewer. When using INIC Remote Viewer - installed as a plug-in in the Opto-Lyzer Suite - only the node address of the respective network node has to be selected. Implemented in MOST Radar a simple click on an icon opens the INIC Remote Viewer to obtain information about the node’s parameters.

Connection diagram - example with an Optolyzer® G2 and the OptoLyzer Suite:

When the INIC node is running and there is no access to its debug interface, the INIC Remote Viewer gives instant access to the various INIC properties and the state of the specific node. After starting the INIC Remote Viewer, it scans the network for all INIC nodes and presents them in a list for selection.

The INIC Remote Viewer presents all INIC properties in a clearly-arranged user interface:

The properties are grouped in functional blocks (1) and presented with its names synchronized with the INIC API User Manual (5) and its value (2). For the selected property (3) a short description of the property (4) is visible on the right hand.

Beside INIC properties, the INIC Remote Viewer presents some internal state machines of the node, the Socket Connection Manager and the Configuration String. The entries of the Configuration String are shown in detail - presenting the property name, the property type, and the value.

The Socket Connection Manager of the INIC Remote Viewer presents the state of the INIC ports, sockets and connections in an informative overview:
