Win32 Application
SMSC offers a Win32 application (MSMM Win32 exe), which allows to run the MOST® System Management Module¹⁾ on a PC and interface to a MOST network via a MOST PCI Tool Kit or an INIC Evaluation Platforms. Doing so it is possible to connect a virtual MOST device to real MOST hardware in a real MOST network and to simulate device interaction.
Of course, it’s also possible to integrate the sources of the MOST System Management Module into a customized system development environment and plug onto the MOST NetServices API. This allows adequate tests before integrating the MOST System Management Module or tailored parts of it into an embedded platform.
