V3.0.2 NS V3 NS V2 NS V1 oPHY ePHY MediaLB DTCP MOST150 MOST50 MOST25 DescriptionThe Hub 4 MOST is an easy to handle tool for MOST data distribution in a star-like configuration. A data recovery circuit on each input port ensures a clean signal on each output (according to SP2 of MOST physical layer specification). The Hub is based on an internal electrical MOST network which integrates each port if a lockable MOST signal is received. The Hub 4 MOST can run either in Full Operation Mode (with Timing Master or Slave selectable) or in SLAVE Mode. In SLAVE Mode it automatically switches to low-power mode when no light is received on any port. In Timing Master mode the sample rate and the SBC value may be set. A monitor output can be switched to each port's Rx signal in order to SPY monitoring single ports or the complete Network. An additional 'scan function' can be used to check each port for coding errors. If the hub can not lock to an incoming signal, the port will automatically be excluded from the internal network. The Hub 4 MOST can be used as a stand-alone device in Timing Master or Slave Mode or in combination with a PC via RS232. Via RS232 some additional functions like basic audio routing (LINE IN/OUT; e.g., for audio monitoring) or the 3 dB attenuation of optical output power are supported. All main functions can also be controlled by other devices via the MOST network. Configuration Example
